At an elevation of 1,500', The Creekside Cabin with splendid cooling breezes in the evenings (the time you really want to relax after a fun day). When you arise in the morning and walk outside you may think you are camping at Lassen Park or Yosemite because of the surrounding view, wonderful smell of the pine trees and the sound of the creek. Well, it's not a stretch of the imagination.... after all, you ARE in a "park"..... in the mountains, in the woods. There's a stream and privacy, tall pines, what you get away for! An ideal place to stay to enjoy hiking, site seeing, boating, snow skiing and just getting some honest down time. A luxurious place with everything you would enjoy if you were home.

The cabin is completely private  because it is not in a neighborhood. You will have privacy since there is no visibility from anywhere off of the property yet only 2 miles from the I-5 freeway. There is plenty of parking available near the house for your boat, personal watercraft and ATV's. Bring them and use them nearby!

The Creekside Cabin was built in the late 90's and really does look and feel new. The Cabin has central air conditioning, central heat, and a wood stove. Cedar decks extend from both the master bedroom and the side of the house (kitchen area).

The property is traversed by Dog and Cavanaugh creeks. Dog Creek is right near the house and Cavanaugh Creek meets Dog Creek just a little ways from the cabin. These creeks run clear and cold all year and are home to wily native trout (they see you and they are GONE). The property is home to a great variety of wild life including deer, squirrels, ducks, wild turkeys, otters, osprey, foxes, (and yes, bears but they hide a lot) and many songbirds so wonderful to hear! Leave the windows open at night and they will give you a symphonic wake up call!  And there is an abundant variety of butterflies. All 65 acres are yours to explore as you desire.
